Salmon DNA (PDRN) in Mersin
Support skin cell renewal with polynucleotide technology. An advanced biological therapy for elasticity, radiance and hydration balance.
What Is Salmon DNA (PDRN)?
PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a biological molecule derived from the sperm cells of salmon that shows a high degree of compatibility with human DNA. When injected into the skin it supports cellular renewal, promotes connective-tissue production and helps reduce inflammation.
In recent years, salmon DNA has become one of the most widely used bioregenerative treatments in Asia and Europe and can be a suitable option for people who want to work on overall skin quality in depth.
Who Is It Suitable For?
- ▸Skin that has lost elasticity or appears lax
- ▸A dull, tired or pale complexion
- ▸Fine lines and early signs of ageing
- ▸Under-eye dark circles and hollowness
- ▸Post-acne skin damage and scarring
- ▸Sun-damaged skin
Procedure and What to Expect
Salmon DNA injections are typically delivered in 3–4 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart. Each session lasts about 20–30 minutes; a topical anaesthetic cream is applied beforehand.
From the first session, many people notice increased hydration and radiance in the skin. The most pronounced results usually emerge 4–6 weeks after the programme is completed. The effect typically lasts 6–12 months and can be maintained with annual follow-up sessions. Results vary from person to person. Any treatment plan is subject to physician assessment.
Who Should Avoid Salmon DNA, and What Are the Possible Side Effects?
Salmon DNA (PDRN) is assessed on a case-by-case basis in people who are in good general health. In the following situations the procedure is postponed or not performed:
- ▸Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- ▸Known allergy to fish or seafood
- ▸Active infection, cold sores or open wounds in the treatment area
- ▸Bleeding disorders or regular use of blood thinners (planned only after physician assessment)
- ▸Uncontrolled chronic conditions and active autoimmune disease
Common and temporary side effects include redness at the injection sites, mild swelling, tenderness and small bruises; the redness usually subsides within 12–24 hours. Less commonly, small palpable bumps in the skin may last for a few days and prolonged oedema may occur. Rare effects include infection and allergic reaction. This is general information only; suitability and possible risks are discussed at an in-person consultation, taking into account personal health history and current medications.
