Skin Booster Mersin (Injectable Hyaluronic Acid Hydration)
Boost your skin's ability to retain moisture, renew its elasticity and restore a radiant complexion with a concentrated hyaluronic acid formula. (Commonly known in Turkey as "gençlik aşısı".)
What Is a Skin Booster?
A skin booster (known in Turkish as "gençlik aşısı") is an injectable formulation of dense, cross-linked hyaluronic acid delivered into the deeper layers of the skin. Compared with classic mesotherapy products, its structure is more concentrated and longer-lasting; this allows it to lock in moisture and support elasticity in the skin for a longer period.
Approved products are available in different concentrations and molecular structures. Dr. Doğan Uysal selects the most suitable product for each patient's skin type and needs and builds an individualised treatment plan.
Which Concerns Does It Address?
- ▸Dryness, dull and matte appearance
- ▸Reduced elasticity and early skin laxity
- ▸Fine lines and superficial wrinkles
- ▸Sun damage and early signs of ageing
- ▸Signs of ageing on the neck, décolletage and backs of the hands
Treatment Areas
A skin booster can be applied to the face, neck, décolletage and the backs of the hands. For a more integrated rejuvenation approach, it is generally advised to include the neck and décolletage alongside the face.
Session Programme
The treatment is usually delivered as 3 sessions, spaced 3–4 weeks apart. Each session takes about 30–45 minutes. Improved hydration and radiance are noticeable from the first session; the full effect becomes clear 4–6 weeks after the final session. The effect typically lasts 6–12 months. Results vary from person to person. Any treatment plan is subject to physician assessment.
Who Is Not a Candidate, and What Are the Possible Side Effects?
A skin booster is considered for individuals aged 18 and above whose general health is suitable. The treatment is postponed or not performed in the following situations:
- ▸Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- ▸Known allergy to hyaluronic acid or any of the product ingredients
- ▸Active infection, cold sores or inflamed acne in the treatment area
- ▸Bleeding disorders or regular use of blood-thinning medication (planned only after physician assessment)
- ▸Uncontrolled chronic conditions and active autoimmune disease
Common and temporary side effects: redness at the injection points, mild swelling and small bruises; these usually resolve within 1–2 days. Less common: small palpable bumps in the skin for a few days, or prolonged oedema. Rare: infection or allergic reaction. This information is general; the decision about suitability and possible risks is discussed during an in-person consultation, taking your medical history and current medications into account. If you notice any unexpected, severe or persistent symptom, please contact the clinic. Results vary from person to person. Any treatment plan is subject to physician assessment.
