Mesotherapy Mersin
Facial mesotherapy, hair mesotherapy (for hair loss), body and neck-décolletage — every form of mesotherapy is delivered at Dr. Doğan Uysal's clinic in Mezitli, Mersin, using vitamin cocktails prepared for each individual.
What Is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a skin and hair revitalisation treatment in which a tailored mixture of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and hyaluronic acid is delivered into the middle layer of the skin (the mesoderm) using fine needles. Active ingredients delivered directly beneath the skin reach a depth that creams or oral supplements cannot, so hydration balance, elasticity and overall appearance improve noticeably.
In Mersin, mesotherapy is performed at Dr. Doğan Uysal's Mezitli clinic using cocktails prepared according to each patient's skin or hair needs. It is used with different goals on the face, scalp, neck-décolletage and body.
Which Areas Is Mesotherapy Used For?
Mesotherapy is applied to different areas depending on the goal. The treatment site determines not only the target, but also the cocktail used, the depth of injection and the number of sessions. The most commonly chosen applications are outlined separately below.
- ▸Face: Hydration, radiance and overall skin quality; softening of fine lines.
- ▸Scalp: Slowing hair shedding and nourishing the follicles.
- ▸Neck and décolletage: A fresh appearance in harmony with the face.
- ▸Body: Cellulite appearance and localised tissue quality.
- ▸Eye area: Lighter, dedicated cocktails for tone and fine lines.
Facial Mesotherapy
Facial mesotherapy delivers vitamins, minerals and hyaluronic acid to the skin via microinjection, restoring hydration, radiance and vitality. It is effective on dull, tired and dry skin; it softens fine lines and supports collagen production. A visible increase in hydration and glow can typically be noticed after the first few sessions. It is often preferred at seasonal transitions and ahead of significant occasions.
The cocktail content is not the same for everyone; it varies with skin type. For dry, dull skin, hyaluronic acid–rich moisturising cocktails are preferred; for oily skin with prominent pores, lighter formulas that respect sebum balance work better. On sensitive skin that flushes easily, the interval between sessions can be extended slightly. Because this choice also affects the number of sessions, a skin analysis is performed at the first consultation; for detail, see our article on how mesotherapy content is chosen according to skin type.
Hair Mesotherapy (Hair Loss Treatment)
Hair mesotherapy uses vitamin and mineral cocktails formulated for the follicle, delivered into the scalp, to help slow hair loss, nourish the roots and support stronger, healthier-looking hair. It is preferred for stress-related and seasonal shedding (telogen effluvium) and early-stage androgenetic hair loss. To enhance the effect it is often combined with hair PRP. The programme is typically 4–6 sessions, once every 2–4 weeks, followed by maintenance sessions. Response is usually more noticeable when sessions are started early.
Seasonal shedding is a separate topic. In autumn and spring, a portion of the hair follicles enter the resting (telogen) phase at the same time, so the daily amount of shedding may temporarily increase; for most people, this pattern settles on its own within a few months. However, if shedding lasts longer than three months, hair volume drops noticeably, or the parting line begins to widen, a physician assessment is warranted. In this period, mesotherapy aims to make it easier for the follicles to move back into the growth phase by providing nutritional support to the scalp.
Behind hair loss there may be correctable causes such as iron (ferritin), B12 and vitamin D deficiencies, thyroid problems, rapid weight loss, postpartum hormonal shifts or long-standing stress. For that reason, when appropriate, blood tests are requested before starting; no programme is enough on its own if the underlying cause is left unaddressed. Managing expectations is also part of the process: the first noticeable change is usually a reduction in shedding, and it can take 3–6 months for newly emerging hairs to become visible, because that is simply how fast hair grows. Readers who want a detailed look at the mechanism can review our article on how mesotherapy works in hair loss.
Body / Regional Mesotherapy
Body mesotherapy is used to reduce the appearance of localised fat and cellulite. The dedicated cocktails delivered beneath the skin support regional circulation and tissue quality. It produces more visible results when combined with healthy nutrition and regular movement; it is not a weight-loss method on its own.
Body mesotherapy differs from facial mesotherapy not only by area but also technically: the depth of injection, the volume of the cocktail used and the number of sessions are different. Because the aim on the face is skin quality and hydration, while on the body it is circulation, tissue firmness and cellulite appearance, a wider area and a longer programme are usually involved. You can find the distinction between the two in our article on the differences between facial and body mesotherapy. If there is a tendency to oedema, circulatory concerns or noticeable skin laxity, the plan is reshaped accordingly.
Neck & Décolletage Mesotherapy
The neck and décolletage are among the areas most affected by sun exposure and ageing, yet they are often overlooked. Mesotherapy applied here improves skin quality, hydration and elasticity, delivering a fresh look that harmonises with the face. Dedicated cocktails can also be used in the under-eye area to support tone and vitality.
Session Plan and Timeline
Mesotherapy is typically delivered as a programme of 4–6 sessions, spaced 2–4 weeks apart. Each session lasts around 20–30 minutes, and a topical anaesthetic cream is applied beforehand for comfort. The treatment is planned as a process rather than a one-off session.
Aftercare: Most people return to normal life on the same day. On the day of the procedure, it is advisable to avoid intense sun exposure, saunas and make-up. A rise in glow and hydration is observed after the first few sessions; once the programme is completed, results are maintained for 3–6 months and extended through follow-up sessions.
When Should Mesotherapy Be Started?
Because mesotherapy is a programme rather than a single procedure, its timing directly affects the outcome. For facial and body treatments, the most suitable periods are usually spring and autumn, so that the 4–6 session programme can be completed without intense sun exposure. If a specific date such as a holiday or a wedding is being targeted, starting the programme at least 6–8 weeks in advance allows the sessions to be planned without rushing. We have covered how a pre-summer schedule is built in our pre-summer mesotherapy programme guide.
For hair mesotherapy, acting early is more important than waiting. In autumn and spring, when seasonal shedding intensifies, planning the programme as soon as shedding is noticed helps slow the progression of loss. The timing of treatment and the interval between sessions are set individually, according to the type of shedding and the test results.
Which Treatments Is Mesotherapy Planned Alongside?
Mesotherapy improves the skin's hydration, radiance and tissue quality; however, it does not on its own address lines caused by expression movements or volume loss. For that reason, in a holistic plan it is often considered together with other treatments: botulinum toxin (Botox) treatments for expression lines on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes, and dermal filler (hyaluronic acid) treatments for volume loss in areas such as the cheekbones, jawline and lips, while mesotherapy takes care of skin quality.
The treatments can be planned in the same session or across consecutive appointments; the sequence is determined with regard to the condition of the skin and recovery times. Which combination is suitable — and whether it is genuinely needed — is decided together after the analysis at the first consultation. The aim is not to increase the number of treatments, but to build the most appropriate and most measured plan for the need.
How Are Mesotherapy Prices Set in Mersin?
Mesotherapy pricing is personalised according to the treatment area (face, hair, body), the number of sessions planned and the cocktail used. Because mesotherapy is a 4–6 session programme rather than a single session, pricing is evaluated across the entire programme.
For that reason, detailed information is shared at the first consultation, following your skin or hair analysis; no treatment is recommended that you do not actually need.
Who Is Mesotherapy Not Suitable For, and What Are the Possible Side Effects?
